Subaru Ascent 2018-2026 Owner's Manual: Unlock using PIN Code Access

In the Subaru Ascent, when all doors including the rear gate are securely locked, it is possible to unlock the driver's door without using the key fob by utilizing the convenient PIN Code Access feature via the rear lock button.

NOTE

The Subaru Ascent PIN Code Access function is especially useful if the key fob is accidentally locked inside the vehicle. For enhanced security, it is strongly recommended to register a unique 5-digit PIN code.

NOTE

Press the " Subaru Ascent button icon for PIN setup" button within 30 seconds after completing step 6 to proceed to the registration stage. If the " Subaru Ascent confirmation button icon" button is not pressed within this time frame, the Subaru Ascent PIN code registration process will be canceled automatically.
