MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL(5MT) > Reverse Idler Gear
INSTALLATION
1. Install the reverse shifter lever, adjusting washer, reverse idler gear, reverse idler gear shaft and washer, and secure them with the straight pin.
NOTE:
• Be sure to install the reverse idler gear shaft from rear side.
• Use a new straight pin.

2. Check and adjust clearance between the reverse idler gear and the timing case wall surface. Reverse Idler Gear > INSTALLATION">

3. Install the shifter forks and rods. Shifter Fork and Rod > INSTALLATION">
4. Install the front differential assembly. Front Differential Assembly > INSTALLATION">
5. Install the main shaft assembly. Main Shaft Assembly > INSTALLATION">
6. Install the drive pinion shaft assembly. Drive Pinion Shaft Assembly > INSTALLATION">
7. Install the transmission case. Transmission Case > INSTALLATION">
8. Install the transfer case together with the extension case assembly. Transfer Case and Extension Case Assembly > INSTALLATION">
9. Install the back-up light switch and the neutral position switch. Switches and Harness > INSTALLATION">
10. Install the manual transmission assembly to the vehicle. Manual Transmission Assembly > INSTALLATION">
