Subaru Ascent 2018-2026 Owner's Manual: Child safety locks
The Subaru Ascent is equipped with child safety locks on each rear door, providing an additional level of protection for young passengers.
When the child safety lock lever is set to the "LOCK" position, the rear door cannot be opened from the inside. It can only be opened from the outside, preventing accidental door opening by children.
WARNING
