WARNING
The battery emits highly flammable gases that can ignite and cause an explosion if exposed to ignition sources.
If contact occurs, immediately rinse the affected area with plenty of clean water.
If the acid enters the eyes, seek medical assistance without delay.
If swallowed accidentally, drink a large amount of water or milk and obtain emergency medical attention immediately.
CAUTION
Do not exceed a charging current of 10 amperes when charging the battery of your Subaru Ascent, as higher current may reduce battery lifespan and cause damage.
Under normal conditions, the battery installed in your Subaru Ascent does not require regular checking of electrolyte levels or the addition of distilled water, as it is designed for maintenance-free operation.
NOTE
To prevent battery discharge, avoid using electrical systems such as lights, wipers, climate control, or seat heaters for extended periods when the engine is not running. Even when the ignition is in the "ACC" position, prolonged use of electrical equipment may drain the battery of your Subaru Ascent.
