The turn signal lever in the Subaru Ascent is designed for precise and intuitive operation, allowing the driver to clearly communicate intended driving maneuvers to surrounding traffic. By moving the lever upward or downward, you can activate the appropriate turn signals for right or left turns.
If the turn signal lever in the Subaru Ascent does not automatically return to the neutral position after completing a turn, it should be manually returned to ensure proper signaling and to avoid confusion for other road users.
For lane changes, the Subaru Ascent provides a convenient partial-press function. Gently move the turn signal lever upward or downward and hold it in position during the maneuver. Once released, the lever will automatically return to its neutral position, simplifying operation and enhancing driver control.
One-touch lane changer
The Subaru Ascent is equipped with a one-touch lane change feature for added convenience. To activate this function, lightly push the turn signal lever up or down and release it immediately. The system will automatically flash the turn signal and indicator light three times, making lane changes smoother and more efficient without requiring the driver to hold the lever.
NOTE
The one-touch lane change function in the Subaru Ascent can be customized or disabled through the center information display settings. Additionally, an authorized SUBARU dealer can assist in adjusting this feature according to driver preference.
The Subaru Ascent signaling system is engineered to provide clear communication and effortless control, helping drivers perform turns and lane changes safely and confidently in all driving conditions.
