In the Subaru Ascent, the front fog lights can be activated by turning the fog light switch to the " " position, provided that the headlights are operating under the following conditions:

• The headlight switch is set to the " " position.
• The headlight switch is set to "AUTO" and the low beam headlights are automatically activated.

To turn off the fog lights in the Subaru Ascent, perform one of the following actions:

• Rotate the switch to " " (except for Canada models).
• Switch the control to "OFF" (for Canada models).

When the fog lights are activated, the corresponding indicator light will illuminate on the Subaru Ascent combination meter, confirming that the system is in use.
