Steering Responsive Headlight (SRH)
The Steering Responsive Headlight (SRH) system in the Subaru Ascent automatically adjusts the direction of the headlight beams based on steering input and vehicle speed. This advanced functionality improves nighttime visibility by illuminating the intended path of travel, particularly when navigating curves, intersections, or winding roads.
Drivers of the Subaru Ascent can enable or disable the SRH system through the center information display, allowing full control over this adaptive lighting feature. Refer to "Car settings" for configuration details.

When the SRH function is turned off, the corresponding indicator light will illuminate on the Subaru Ascent combination meter, clearly indicating that the system is inactive.

If a malfunction occurs within the SRH system, the warning light will illuminate on the Subaru Ascent display, and a notification will appear when the ignition is in the "ON" position. This indicates that the system has been deactivated and requires inspection by an authorized SUBARU dealer.
