in the Subaru Ascent.
NOTE
- When either defrost mode is selected in the Subaru Ascent, the air conditioning
system may activate automatically to improve defogging performance, even if
the A/C indicator is not illuminated.
In addition, the system will automatically switch to outside air mode to enhance moisture removal and maintain clear visibility.
This behavior is normal and ensures faster and more effective windshield clearing.
- After using the defroster function, pressing the defroster button again will return the Subaru Ascent climate system to its previous settings.
