Before applying wax or polish to your Subaru Ascent, always ensure that the vehicle has been thoroughly washed and completely dried. This prevents dirt or debris from being trapped under the wax layer, which could otherwise damage the paint surface.

Use only high-quality automotive waxes and polishing compounds, and carefully follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer. For best results, apply these products when the painted surfaces of your Subaru Ascent are cool to the touch and not exposed to direct sunlight.

It is important to treat not only the painted panels but also chrome accents and trim elements. NOTE

• When waxing your Subaru Ascent, avoid covering windshield washer nozzles with wax, as this may impair washer performance.
• Do not clean the rear view camera lens using alcohol, benzine, or paint thinner.

  These substances may cause discoloration or degrade the protective coating. Instead, gently clean the lens with a soft cloth moistened with a diluted neutral detergent, followed by drying with a clean cloth.

• During waxing, ensure that wax does not come into contact with the rear view camera. If contamination occurs, remove it carefully using a soft cloth and a mild cleaning solution to maintain clear image quality.

Cleaning alloy wheels

• Regularly clean the alloy wheels of your Subaru Ascent to remove brake dust, road grime, and contaminants. Prompt cleaning prevents buildup that may become difficult to remove over time.
