The Subaru Ascent is equipped with a Surround View Monitor system that provides a comprehensive visual overview of the vehicle’s surroundings. This system displays real-time camera images on the center information display, helping the driver monitor blind spots and improve situational awareness.
It can be used to observe the front area while driving or starting off, the rear area when reversing, and the entire perimeter when parking the Subaru Ascent.
WARNING
Always visually check the surroundings directly and use mirrors in addition to the monitor to avoid accidents.
(e.g., lens or mounting bracket issues).
NOTE
If a malfunction occurs in the Surround View Monitor system, an error message will appear on the display. Refer to the center information display troubleshooting section for further guidance.
