The Subaru Ascent includes a coat hook integrated into the rear passenger assist grip, offering a practical place to hang clothing items.

WARNING

Follow these safety guidelines when using the coat hook in the Subaru Ascent.

• Do not use rigid or pointed hangers. Always hang garments directly on the hook to reduce injury risk.
• Ensure that pockets are empty and do not contain sharp or heavy objects before hanging clothing.

Failure to follow these precautions may lead to the following risks during sudden braking or collisions:

• Objects may be thrown inside the cabin, causing serious injuries.
• Improper deployment of the SRS curtain airbags in the Subaru Ascent.

CAUTION

Do not hang items that may obstruct the driver’s visibility or exceed 11 lbs (5 kg), as this could create hazards during driving or sudden stops.

Shopping bag hook

CAUTION

The shopping bag hook in the Subaru Ascent is intended for light loads only. Do not exceed 6 lbs (3 kg), as overloading may damage the hook.

Shopping bag hooks are located on both sides of the cargo area in the Subaru Ascent, providing convenient storage for small bags and preventing items from shifting during travel.
