The Subaru Ascent front climate control system integrates a touchscreen interface that allows precise control over temperature, airflow direction, and fan speed. Drivers and passengers can independently adjust comfort settings or synchronize them using the SYNC feature for consistent cabin temperature.
Rear climate control screen

:Touch the rear climate control mode indicator
*: Activating the "LOCK" function disables rear climate control panel operation. When locked, the corresponding indicator appears on both the central display and the rear control interface of the Subaru Ascent.
This function is particularly useful in the Subaru Ascent when the driver wants to maintain consistent climate settings without rear passenger adjustments.

The rear climate control panel in the Subaru Ascent allows passengers to independently adjust temperature, fan speed, and airflow direction. The AUTO mode automatically regulates these parameters to maintain a comfortable cabin environment.
NOTE
If the rear climate control system is locked via the center information display, a lock icon will appear on both the central screen and the rear panel. While this indicator is visible, rear passengers cannot modify climate settings. To restore control, unlock the system through the appropriate settings menu in the Subaru Ascent.
The Subaru Ascent climate control system is designed to deliver a balanced and comfortable interior environment for all occupants, combining intuitive controls with advanced features that adapt to varying driving conditions and passenger preferences.
