WARNING

• Never place any objects (including straps, cords, decorative items, or electronic accessories) on or around the steering wheel pad, steering column cover, or dashboard area of your Subaru Ascent.
  • Such items can become entangled with steering components, potentially restricting steering control and preventing the SRS frontal airbag system from deploying correctly in a collision.
  • In the event of airbag deployment, loose or attached objects may be forcefully projected inside the cabin, significantly increasing the risk of injury to occupants.
• Avoid placing any objects underneath the driver's side instrument panel. During deployment of the Subaru Ascent SRS knee airbag, these items may obstruct its operation or be violently propelled, leading to serious injuries.
• Do not attach keys to heavy, rigid, or sharp accessories. If the Subaru Ascent knee airbag deploys, such objects can interfere with proper function and may be thrown toward the driver, posing a high injury risk.
