• The outside temperature display in the Subaru Ascent reflects the temperature around the sensor, but readings may not always be precise or may update slowly under certain conditions.
  • When the vehicle is stationary or moving at very low speeds
  • When there are rapid environmental temperature changes, such as entering or exiting tunnels or underground parking areas
  • When the engine is started after the vehicle has been parked for an extended period
• The icy road surface warning in the Subaru Ascent should be used only as a general guideline. Always assess actual road conditions visually and adjust driving behavior accordingly.
• Once activated, the warning will remain visible until the outside temperature rises to approximately 41ºF (5ºC) or higher.
