Driver's seat

Subaru Ascent power seat controls for driver including position and lumbar adjustment

  1. Seat position forward/backward control switch
    In the Subaru Ascent, move the control switch forward or backward to adjust the seat position. During this adjustment, the seat cushion angle and height remain fixed, ensuring stable movement along the track.
  2. Seat cushion angle control switch
    To modify the angle of the seat cushion, lift or press down the front portion of the control switch, allowing better thigh support and ergonomic seating in the Subaru Ascent.
  3. Seat height control switch
    Adjust the rear portion of the switch upward or downward to change the seat height, helping you achieve an ideal driving position with optimal visibility.
  4. Seatback angle (reclining) control switch
    Use this control switch to smoothly adjust the seatback angle to your preferred position while maintaining proper posture in the Subaru Ascent.
  5. Lumbar support control switch (if equipped)
    For enhanced lower back comfort, press the front side of the switch to increase support.

    Press the rear side of the switch to reduce lumbar pressure and customize comfort.

    To adjust lumbar height, use the upper or lower section of the switch to match your seating preference in the Subaru Ascent.

Thigh extension (driver's seat - if equipped)

CAUTION

When the thigh extension in the Subaru Ascent is fully extended, avoid applying excessive weight on its upper surface. Doing so may damage the mechanism and reduce its effectiveness.

Pull up the lever "1" to extend or retract the seat cushion length, then release the lever to securely lock it into position.
