Subaru Ascent driver floor mat correct positioning and securing pins

CAUTION

If the floor mat in the Subaru Ascent shifts forward and interferes with pedal operation, it may lead to loss of control and serious accidents. Follow these safety precautions carefully.

Subaru Ascent floor mat retaining pins securing system

In the Subaru Ascent, retaining pins are installed on the driver’s side floor to keep the mat firmly in place.

To secure the floor mat properly, align the grommets with the retaining pins and press down firmly until the mat is locked in position.
