DTC B16F9 DOOR SENSOR RH RECOGNITION ERROR

Diagnosis start condition:

Ignition voltage is 10 V to 16 V.

DTC detecting condition:

Front door impact sensor (RH) is misinstalled.

Airbag control module is faulty.

CAUTION:

Before performing diagnosis, refer to “CAUTION” in “General Description”. General Description > CAUTION">

STEPCHECKYESNO

1.REPLACE FRONT DOOR IMPACT SENSOR (RH).

1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF, disconnect the battery ground cable, and wait for 60 seconds or more.

2) Replace the front door impact sensor (RH) with a genuine sensor. Front Door Impact Sensor > REMOVAL">

Does the warning light go off?

Finish the diagnosis.

Replace the airbag control module. Airbag Control Module > REMOVAL">
