Subaru Crosstrek Service Manual: Dtc b1675 satellite safing sensor failure

Diagnosis start condition:

Ignition voltage is 10 V to 16 V.

DTC detecting condition:

• Satellite safing sensor is faulty.

• Airbag control module is faulty.

Before performing diagnosis, refer to “CAUTION” in “General Description”. General Description > CAUTION">

1.REPLACE SATELLITE SAFING SENSOR.

1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF, disconnect the battery ground cable, and wait for 60 seconds or more.

2) Replace the satellite safing sensor with a genuine sensor. Satellite Safing Sensor > REMOVAL">

Does the warning light go off?

Finish the diagnosis.

Replace the airbag control module. Airbag Control Module > REMOVAL">

Dtc b1660 passenger s airbag on indicator failure

Dtc b1676 lost communication with satellite safing sensor
